LAAS software allows candidate to use the online test module in two modes
1. Learn Mode:
This mode provides candidates with an interactive learning environment in which they can go over each question, study flash cards, and correct answers to each question.
Various options present for learn mode are :
1. Exam Options: Allows to set randomizing of questions and answer options and learn time.
1.1 Randomize Questions: Check (select) this option to present candidate with questions in a randomized order.
1.2 Randomize Answers: Check (select) this option to present answer options for each question in randomized order.
1.3 Duration of exams: Enter the time allowed to take exam in minutes. Once exam time is over exam will end and results will be shown.
2. Question Options: Allows to select the type of questions that must be shown.
2.1 Select all the questions: Select this option if you want to view all the questions available at once. If total no. of questions is more than 500 please use next option to select questions.
2.2 Select number of questions: This option can be used to select a specific set of question by entering required number of questions and starting question number.
2.3 Select bookmarked questions only: Select this option to view Only the questions that were bookmarked earlier. This can be useful to revisit specific set of questions. "Clear" button will remove bookmarking from all the questions.
2.4 Customize questions: This feature allows you to select specific categories (topics) for a exam. All the questions in the exam will appear only from selected categories.
selecting customize questions option will list all the Categories present along with number of questions in them. To include the questions from the category in learn mode check the box for that category under "Include". Then use the submit button to begin the exam.
2. Exam Mode:
Various options present for exam mode are :
1. Exam Options:
1.1 Selecting Exam Number: In exam mode based on configuration set by author (can be viewed and changed under Exam Configuration) all question present in database will be divided in to unique set each of which will be listed as a separate exam. You can select on specific set by selecting Exam1, Exam2, Exam3..Each exam will show randomized questions from selected set.
1.2 Final Exam: If this option is selected candidate will be presented with a randomized set of questions from entire question database.
1.3 Select bookmarked questions only: Select this option to view Only the questions that were bookmarked earlier. This can be used full revisit specific set of questions. "Clear" button will remove bookmarking from all the questions.
1.4 Exam Configuration: This feature allows exam supervisor to set configuration options (number of questions per exam, exam time, pass percentage etc), allowed exam modes (learn, exam), permitted buttons (review, pause timer, bookmarking etc)
3. Viewing Results:
In this section, all saved results for the logged-in candidate will be presented, along with options to view the details of those results.
